- אֲסִינְתָּאf. (v. אִסְנָא a. חֲסִינָה) a receptacle for grain. Keth.8a; Ab. Zar.8b מכי רמו שערי בא׳ from the time they put barley into the ăsinta (as the first preliminaries of a wedding feast).
